The Look for Less: Tables for small spaces under $80
![]()
We have a problem. There is never enough room in the house for all the furniture we want. I bet you have that problem too. One of those solutions is from Uncommon Goods (above), their counter table is $160. Or if you are a on a budget and we are, check out this Ikea table for $79.99 (below). Over at the Ikea Hacker blog they show you a great way to trick-out the Ikea table out to make it a great desk for a small space.

This (http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/20104718) is a good deal more expensive ($180) but I LOVE it in my little apartment. It folds up very small, has unexpected storage space (great for coasters, bottle openers, potholders, etc.), and you can unfold one or both leaves depending on how much table space you need. I went without a table for a whole year until I found this “perfect” one!
I love that table! A piece of furniture that you get a lot of leg work out of is usually worth the extra money.
