Simply Good Media:

Leaf Print Fabrics: The Look for Less

September 25, 2008

The leaves are turning brilliant shades of crimson and gold, and while they are beautiful to look at out the windows, we wanted a way to bring the fall colors indoors. Enter leaf printing. This simple technique uses fall leaves, fabric paint and a little imagination to bring their designs to life in your home.

This tutorial from Martha Stewart is for a leaf-printed table cloth, but why stop there? Leaf patterned napkins and place mats might be pretty, or you could take the concept into the guest or bedroom with leaf motif linens, such as bed sheets and pillow cases. You could evens stamp a tote bag for a pretty fall look.

What a great way to bring the fall indoors, if we do say so ourselves!
