Flavored Water: Budget Food Tip
Tired of spending money on bottled flavored water? It only takes a minute or two to make your own flavored water – with no sugar or artificial ingredients, and tailored to your tastes.
Just take a pitcher and fill with water. Add sliced fresh fruits or veggies – oranges, cucumbers, lemon, lime; or herbs, such as rosemary, and stir. Let sit for a few minutes, then pour a glass and enjoy.
Tip: Use a big 32-oz pitcher and fill it twice during the day – that way, once you’ve emptied it twice you’ve met your daily water requirement.
