Between Target’s Dollar Spot and Michaels’ $1 bins it is easy to justify hording tons of beautiful ribbon, but what to do with them? Here are a few good ideas for using that ribbon you’ve been stockpiling.

  • Lamps. Martha Stewart (obviously) has a handy how-to for using that ribbon to jazz up your lampshades.
  • Flowers. The DIY network shows you how to turn those ribbons into flowers, get started now and have a bazillion for your wedding, or that wedding shower/baby shower you have to throw.

  • Pictures. The DIY network also has a fabulous how-to for hanging your pictures with ribbon. Also, consider using your ribbon to hang your pictures instead of a nail, or picture wire.
