All you need is…

  • An empty picture frame
  • Staple gun with staples
  • Hot glue gun (optional)
  • Coarkboard
  • Screen
  • Magnet strips (optional)
  • Sharp scissors

  • Put corkboard in it. You can get a roll of corkboard from Michaels for $14.99 or you can buy corkboard squares from Wal-Mart for $5 Cut the corkboard fit the frame and staple it to the frame. You can also use hot glue, but staples makes the corkboard easy to remove. Affix some magnet strips and put it on your fridge or your wall for a classy way to organize.

Put a screen in it.This idea comes from Tamar via the decor8 blog, who has a home that makes us commit the sin of coveting. Again, cut your screen (you can buy this from any hardware store for under $10, or better yet, reuse some from an old window or door) to match the frame, leaving a little for over hang. Staple one end to the frame and, pulling tight, staple the other ends. Hang this in your closet, bathroom, or bedroom, for a stylish way to store your earrings.
