Dishwater for Watering Plants: Budget Gardening Tip

Here’s a reason to hold onto that dirty dish water (seriously!). Keep a large, clean bucket or bowl in the sink and use it to hand wash your dishes. Then, when you’re done, take the water outside and use it to water your garden. Be sure to use a biodegradable dish soap, such as Seventh Generation (available at Target, Whole Foods Market, etc.).
