Who's behind The Budget Casa?
Kathryn Finney, Founder, Blogger, and Chief Shopping Officer
Kathryn "The Budget Fashionista" Finney created The Budget Casa in early 2007, when she was forced to decorate her home on a VERY limited budget. Through the magical retail combination of IKEA, Salvation Army, Target, and Wal-Mart, she was able to create a fabulous home (no really ... it's pretty cute) without robbing a bank.
In her free time, Kathryn likes to spend hours wandering the aisles of IKEA.
And her merry band of fellow budget shoppers....
Lyz Lenz is young and poor, and so lives to decorate on a budget. Her favorite budget stores are garage sales and Tuesday Morning.
Teresa Shaw is a foodie who, when she's not shopping at Super Target, is home thinking up new budget-minded and healthy recipes.
Sabah Kamari enjoys tracking down the latest shopping deals; she can be found sale-spotting at Target on any given day.
